Why Bipper?

Kids are getting younger and younger when they get their first mobile phone. While 12 years was the average age only a few years ago, its now common to see kids as young as 7 years old having mobile phones. Times are changing! Many parents feel that their kids are safer if they have their own mobile phone. It’s convenient, makes communication easier, provides safety for both adults and kids and simplifies their daily lives. Knowing that your kid can call home if he doesn’t have anyone to walk home from school with, being able to notify your kid that you will be late picking him up from practice or tell your kids to come home for dinner are all examples of this. At the same, many parents believe its wrong to give their young kids a mobile phone. On one hand, they see the need for safety and simple communication on the other, they feel that mobile phones are not designed for kids. In addition, they worry about the many negative consequences such as contact with strangers, large phone bills and mobile bullying. Bipper has addressed parents needs when designing this solution.
